Dr. Carol Wiebe Artist in Residence Program, Bruyère

The AiR program began in 2018, directed by interdisciplinary artist cj fleury.
Collaborating primarily with patients, her approach centers on joy, “making”, “imagining” and agency; developing creative skills, assistive techniques, and supporting ideas around placemaking and community building. Wider goals are to break down silos between ages, abilities, cultures, and institutions and mentor younger artists into cultural work in hospital settings.
